Mr. Lasarte recently opened The Lasarte Law Firm, which specializes in real estate law, with a concentration on land use and zoning. He has represented national, commercial and residential developers and was formerly a partner with Holland and Knight, L.L.P. In addition, The Miami-Dade County Board of Commissioners recently appointed him as the business representative for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) board. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida International University and graduated with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law.
